What People Say
About The Reunion
Some people have expressed their feelings about coming to
the
reunion – won’t you
share yours? |
|
What do you remember
about your days at Central?
SOMETHING
NEW BUT OLD,
Everyone
who
went to Central
knew about the
“H” Letter
and the old
High School.
HERE’S
A
HISTORY OF
CENTRAL THAT EXPLAINS THAT
AND MORE
You,
too can
be a contributor!

Remember
those years — 1953-56?
In
retrospect, the three years we spent at Central passed very quickly
and then we split. In reality, a lot more years were involved for
many of us. Our associations began in elementary school, moved on
to junior high and were completed at Central
– something like 12 years.
Since
graduation, we rarely have come into contact with most of our Central
classmates. Everyone scattered far and wide to all points of the
compass, many continuing their education, others entering the work
force, some joining the military, or starting a family. A lot of
us have not seen each other since.
| Creating
the web site, has forced frequent peaks at the Warrior to
look up names and try to match them with photos. In doing
so, many of the good times and experiences that we had resurfaced.
In
talking with people before the 50th Reunion, something will
become clear which doesn't seem possible. |
|
 |
People
really haven't changed that much. They sound very much like they
did 50 years ago.
|
|
Sure, I know –
they’re completely different, just look in the mirror.
What I meant is
this, if you were friends back then, it will be easy to reestablish
old ties and start a conversation.
If
you haven't done so already, try it out. Give
someone a call or write an email. It'll be fun, they’ll
appreciate your call and you’ll feel good about it! |
Of
course, it helps if the person is enthusiastic and plans to come
to the reunion, but it still works even when you contact someone
who can’t.
Another
good way is to share your feelings with people on this web site.
Send a note about 1956, 2006, the Reunion, or maybe even why you
can’t come. We’ll put new items about you in the Class
Notes section. You can reach those in the class who have access to
the internet.
If
your
high school memories are getting vague,
don't feel bad – it’s happening to most of us.
To
share your interesting stories about experiences at Central, send
an
email and a short message to
Class
of 1956.
Here
are some memories you won't forget.
